This policy explains what information Care at 65 collects when you use this website, how it's used, and the choices you have. If anything here isn't clear, call (888) 996-4534 or email brian@careat65.com and I'll walk you through it.
When you fill out a form on this site — to request the free guide, send a message, or use the TRICARE tool's recap feature — I collect what you type in: things like your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, and any notes you add about your situation (doctors, medications, questions).
The site also uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the pages — general information like which pages you viewed, how you arrived at the site, and technical details like browser type and approximate location. This doesn't identify you personally.
If you use Maya, the site's chat assistant, your questions and Maya's answers are processed to generate a response. Maya is for general education only — please don't type in your Medicare number, Social Security number, or detailed medical records.
Your information is never sold. I don't sell, rent, or trade your contact information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Your information stays with me except in these limited cases: service providers that help run this site (like the form and email tools it's built on), analytics providers (Google Analytics), and — only if you move forward with enrollment — the insurance carrier whose plan you're applying for, as required to process an application. I may also disclose information if required by law or to protect someone's safety.
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to measure traffic and site performance. Google Analytics uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google's browser add-on. Blocking cookies won't affect your ability to use the site or request the guide.
I keep contact and enrollment information for as long as needed to serve you, respond to inquiries, meet carrier and CMS recordkeeping requirements, and comply with applicable law. If you'd like your information removed sooner, contact me and I'll do so unless I'm required to retain it.
You can ask at any time to see what information I have on file for you, correct it, or have it deleted. You can also opt out of future contact by phone, text, or email — just let me know how you'd like to be reached, or not reached. If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under state privacy law to know what's collected and to request deletion; contact me and I'll respond promptly.
This site is intended for adults exploring Medicare — it isn't directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
I take reasonable steps to protect the information you share, but no method of transmission or storage online is completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information like your Medicare number or Social Security number through the contact form or chat — call instead if that's easier.
I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
